Windows 10 Update produces new bug
Updated: Sep 29
It looks like Windows 10 latest optional update is causing issues.
Users have been reporting problems with windows sleep mode, laptops set to sleep when the lid is closed or when the power button has been pressed have been failing to enter sleep mode causing issues for users who have been waking up to dead laptop batteries.
This is not the first issue of this nature either as after a May 2020 Update users were reporting Problems with laptops and desktops waking from sleep mode randomly.
According to a windows source a Windows Update process Called “MoUSO Core Worker Process” is the potential cause of this issue, although Microsoft themselves have not confirmed whether an official fix will be released.
